Today, we would like to update all of our readers, that Indian Railways Recruitment 2016 has been announced for 18000 posts. The Online Registration has already started and the last Date to Submit RRB 2016 Online application is 26th Jan, 2016.   


Now the Railways Notification 2016 is announced, you can now start your preparation for the exam . You should start to prepare early for this exam, as this will help you in the long run. Applicants willing to apply for Railways Jobs in India, are advised to check the Eligibility Criteria for RRB Recruitment 2016 Exams, as there is different criteria for different posts .

Applicants who successfully apply for Railway Exams, must know, that you have to Obtain the Admit Cards, without which they cannot appear in the exam. In this post, we are going to share the Step-by step Process for Obtaining the Railway Admit Card 2016 for various exams.


It is worth mentioning here that since, 21 RRB's are participating in the Common Recruitment process, therefore, you have to download the RRB Admit Cards from the respective Board's website. In this post, we will discuss in detail, the process for obtaining the Admit Cards, from the respective RRB Regional websites

Applicants must note that, Admit Cards can be downloaded only through online mode, as Railways has scrapped the process for sending the paper Admit cards. Railways, may send you an intimation through Email / SMS, whenever, Admit cards will be released.

As, you know, several websites have claimed and published information, that RRB Exam schedule and downloading of Admit cards for Railways exam, will start from 5th march, 2016, which is false. 

As, of now, No Official information is there regarding the RRB Exam Dates and admit cards. For any kind of information, only rely on official RRB websites.  


Once, the Schedule of Railway Exam, will be announced, we will update the same on this page. 

What is an RRB Admit Card ?

An Admit card is a system Generated document, which is unique and is based on the Data that you submit at the time of filling the Online application form. Applicants who submit their online forms successfully, are issued Admit cards, based on which they can appear for exams. 

The trend of online admit cards, is new in Railways, as earlier, RRB's send the Paper Admit Cards to candidates at their correspondence addresses. 

Particulars : An Admit card had information Like Date, Venue and Time of Exam. It also contains your unique Roll No. that acts as your Identifier.

The Admit card, that you Download, must be retained till the Selection process is over, because at the time of result declaration, you need this Roll No. to check your result.

If you have applied for Railways NTPC Recruitment for 18000 posts, then you have to Download the Admit card from the respective RRB Website

From Where to Download the RRB Admit card

Applicants, must note that applications have been invited by Indian Railways, through a Centralized Recruitment Notification ie CEN No. 3 of 2015, but the exam, will be conducted by the respective RRB's only.

Respective RRB's means, that RRB for which you have applied or submitted your application form Eg: You have applied for vacancies in the RRB Jammu, Srinagar, then your exam will be conducted by RRB Jammu Srinagar only.

And also the Admit Cards, will be released by the concerned RRB only. So, it is highly advisable, that you check the Websites of respective RRB's. atleast once in a week.

Expected Date: It is expected that admit cards, will be available from 2nd week of march. However, there is nothing official on this and exact status will be known, only after there is some official word on this.

The Written Exam is scheduled from March to May, 2016 and schedule for this, will be notified by respective RRB's only.

How to Download RRB Admit Card 2016 ?

Now, the Indian Railways had announced the Dates of Online Examination. As per the Official Notification, RRB's are going to conduct the exams, in the month of March to May, 2016. It is expected that downloading of Admit cards will start at least 2 weeks from the Exam Date.


As the Notification is out, note down the Dates for downloading the Admit cards and it is highly advisable that you should not wait for the last dates, as during that time, the Traffic is at peak that may results in website getting crashed.

The Admit Cards for RRB Recruitment 2016, will be available on the Official Websites of RRB's . There are 19 RRB's in India, and each RRB had its own official website. 

You can download your Admit card only from the Website of RRB for which you have applied.

Here are the Simple steps to Download the RRB Admit Card 2016.

1) Log on to Official Respective website of concerned Railway Recruitment Board (RRB)

2) After that, you have to Find the appropriate link on the Website, for Downloading the Admit card and click on it. The Admit Cards can also be downloaded from the RRB Online registration website at www.rrbonlinereg.net .

3) After that, you will be on "Admit Card Download Page". There you will see the Form as given in the image below

4) To download the Admit card, you have to enter the Registration No. and Date of Birth and click on the Login Button.

Forget Registration No ?.: The Reg. No  was generated, when your RRB application was submitted. 

In case, you forget, your Registration No. then you can retrieve the same, from your Email ID Or from the SMS, as after your application was submitted, Railways had sent an intimation at your Email ID and SMS.

This Email ID and SMS, contains your Registration No. If you still face difficulty in obtaining the Reg. No, ask us through the Comments section.  

5) If your Details are correct, then you will see your Admit card. Now you have to Download it and take out its Print Out.

Note: Along with Admit cards, applicants should also have to bring an Identity Proof, without which they shall not be allowed to sit in the Exam.
