The RRB Exam dates are yet to be announced, however, as per the information in the Railways Advt Notification, the tentative date of exam in from March to May, 2016. However the exact exam dates will be known only when the RRB Admit Cards 2016 will be made available for Download. It is expected that downloading of Admit cards, will start at least 2 weeks before the exam date.
RRB Goods Guard Exam 2016 : 7500 posts
As we have mentioned above that Job Profile of Goods guard, is not that good as we have for other posts. As the name itself speaks, A Good guards is the one who looks after the entire cargo loaded in the train. He can be seen in the last compartment of the train and has a portion allotted to him known as brake van.
Some of the Duties performed by Goods Guard are
1) He is responsible for applying brakes at full potential in case of any emergency
2) He has to look after that wagons are properly attached to each other
3) He has to inform the loco pilot, in case he finds any abnormalities in the functioning of trains
Salary: The Salary of Goods Guard is highest among all other posts in Railways, while the salary, as entry point is Rs 35000/- . In many cases, newly recruited, Goods guard can get salary even upto Rs 60,000.

Exam Pattern: The exam patter for goods guard, comprises on Single Online computer based test and followed by Document Verification. Applicants are advised to read our previous post on Syllabus for Indian Railways Exam, to know the contents of syllabus.
Syllabus: The syllabus for goods guard exam, comprises of 100 Objective Questions, having 90 minutes exam duration. Here is structure of Computer based test.
